Are we able to retrieve note images from API?

Hi, I understand note images have data-attachment-key attribute, however I cannot access them from API. Also I note Zotero's web library do not display them. Are they only stored locally after caching PDFs? Thanks in advance.

Images in notes are child attachments of the notes with link mode
`embedded_image`, but you have to be using Zotero Storage for the
associated files to exist online or be available in the web library.
