The process is the same as 2022 however lead times may vary.

For what it's worth -- the opacity on the "lead times", approval criteria and general uncertainty around the Google Civic API quotas is a bipartisan issue. I don't share Puran's politics, but we're also in a similar place. 

We applied for a higher rate limit in 2023 and never heard back --  I just applied again.

fwiw everyone eventually uses a more reliable data source.

i write this email annually.

 for being such an important and high profile api, there is zero excuse for the consistent drip of fail come election time.

if the gatekeepers cannot or will not get with it, they need to pass the torch to citizens who will.

but this is politics and that will never happen.
